Sat/Sun April 1&2 - Rockford Speedway, Rockford IL
Not a bad start to the season! There were twenty five Mid-Am cars total. We timed in eleventh with a 14.563. The heat race we started third row inside and finished second. The Feature we started front row outside and led for the first eleven laps. Scott was battling brake problems throughout the race but ended with a third place finish.    Congratulations to Lyle Nowak for his first Feature win in the Mid-Am series!

Monday May 29 - Grundy Co. Speedway, Grundy IL
We timed in seventeenth with a 16.602 out of twenty eight cars. The heat race we started front row outside and finished fourth. All twenty eight cars started the Feature. We started ninth row inside and finished eighth. We were very happy with our finish considering we started seventeenth and three cars ended up on their roofs.

Saturday June 10 - Wisconsin International Raceway, Kaukauna WI
The first practice session the car ran great and we were right in the ball park for times. Went out for the second practice session and the car was blubbering. Made a few changes that we thought would fix the problem but unfortunately the car still blubbered during time trials. We timed in thirteenth out of twenty four cars with a 21.560. We changed the distributor after time trials and started the heat third row outside. The blubber was gone but lacked HP coming off the corner which gave us a fifth place finish. The Feature we started seventh row inside and finished eighth. Thanks to Lyle Nowak for borrowing us a distributor and Bruce from B&B for changing it!!

Saturday June 17 - Lake Geneva Raceway, Lake Geneva WI
There were a total of twenty seven Mid-Am cars and we were seventeenth in time with a 17.780. Car was very loose in qualifying. The heat race we started front row outside and finished third. The Feature we started seventeenth and had to work our way up twice when we had a flat tire with 10 laps to go. We made it back out with 5 laps to go and still ended up finishing thirteenth.

Friday June 23 - Madison International Speedway, Oregon WI
We had a 19.726 in qualifying which put us twelfth in time out of twenty three cars. The heat race we started third row inside and finished in fifth. The feature we started front row inside and finished seventh. Before the feature we changed gears and should not have done that as the engine was floating at the end of the straight away.

Saturday June 24 - 141 Speedway, Francis Creek WI
Mother nature won this one.

Friday June 30 - Elko Speedway, Elko MN
This is not a points race for the Mid-Am series, we just decided to take a ride and visit our main sponsor.
Elko does not have time trials for the Mid-Am division. For the qualifier we started third row outside and finished seventh. For the Feature we started seventh row outside and finished sixteenth. We just can not seem to finish in any other spot than sixteenth at Elko :o(

Saturday July 15 - 141 Speedway, Francis Creek WI
They did not have time trials as they stayed with how you qualified on June 24th. The heat race we started second row outside and won that. While we were getting the car ready for the last chance race we discovered the gas peddle was broke off. We clamped it on for the race but Scott was having a very difficult time driving with it that way so we decided to pull off before we wrecked ourselves or someone else. 

Saturday July 22 - Wisconsin International Raceway, Kaukauna WI
We timed in twelfth out of twenty five cars with a 21.723. The heat race we started third row inside and pulled off after a couple of laps because the car felt like it was starving on gas. Got back out for the last couple of laps and it ran better. The Feature we started front row inside and on a few laps the car was still cutting out, but still ended up with a seventh place finish.

Friday August 11 - Golden Sands Speedway, Plover WI
There were eighteen cars total and we timed in with a 13.558, which put us thirteenth in time. The heat race we started third row outside and finished third. The Feature we started seventh row inside and finished eighth. 

Saturday August 19 - Wisconsin International Raceway, Kaukauna WI
We had a 21.596 which put us ninth in time out of twenty cars. The heat race we started third row outside and finished fourth. The Feature we started fifth row inside and finished sixth.

Saturday August 26 - Milwaukee Mile, West Allis WI
As usual this show brings out all the Mid American cars. There were a total of thirty nine cars. Our qualifying time was a 33.45 which put us twenty third in time. The Feature we started twelfth row inside and because the car had a massive push from the center out, we ended up finishing twenty third.

 Saturday September 2 - 141 Speedway, Francis Creek WI
There were a total of twenty four cars and we timed in with a 12.825, which put us twentieth in time. The heat race we finished in sixth. We had to run the last chance race and finished second in that, which advanced us to the Feature. The Feature we started ninth row outside and finished fifteenth.

Sunday September 24 - Rockford Speedway, Rockford IL
There were twenty three cars total. They did not do time trials, but took out fastest time that we ran during the practice session on Sunday. All cars had transponders on during this practice. There was no heat race. The Feature we finished nineteenth after dropping out with motor problems.

Sat./Sun. Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 - Lake Geneva Raceway, Lake Geneva WI
We timed in with a 18.063 which put us twenty eight out of thirty four cars. The heat race we finished second. During the Semi Feature we had motor problems again and ended up finishing in eighth place.

Saturday October 7 - LaCrosse Speedway, West Salem WI
We were twenty third in time out of thirty five cars. We had a 21.441 in time. The heat race we finished in sixth place. The Semi Feature we finished in third place and advanced to the Feature. The Feature we started in the twenty first spot and finished in twelfth place.

Well, that's it for another year. Had some issues throughout the season with the car blubbering, but overall a good year. We finished seventh overall in points. Congratulations to James Swan for the championship!
